Lei Qian 钱磊

Dr. Lei Qian focused his research interests on inorganic/organic optoelectronic materials and devices, and their applications in displays. He demonstrated all-solution-processed high-efficient quantum-dot light-emitting diodes (S-QLED) for the first time that have high brightness and long operation life-time. In 2009, he co-founded Nanophotonica Inc. in US to push forward the study of S-QLED. He has jointed TCL Corporate Research as Deputy Chief Engineering since 2015 for commercialize QLED technology. Since 2019, he moved to NIMTE as Professor, leading the advanced nano optoelectronic materials and devices team for developing all related technologies on nano material synthesis, thin film optoelectronic device preparation, chemical process engineering, optical spectroscopy and other related disciplines.
